S&A Wins Club Of The Year Title
Last Thursday, our Food and Beverage Manager Adrian and Head Chef Darren went along to Manchester’s Palace Hotel to represent S&A at the 25th Club Awards ceremony, hosted by BBC Sports Presenter Sally Nugent.
Over 600 people were in attendance, representing over 100 different establishments from across the whole of England, who had been shortlisted in 28 different categories. The Club were reminded beforehand what a fine achievement it was just to be a finalist and invited to the awards evening.
S&A were shortlisted for three awards and, whilst we came up short in two, we were the Winners in the prestigious ‘Golf Club of the Year’ category, which had a shortlist of 10 finalists. Recent winners of the prize include Wentworth in 2013.
Adrian and Darren were extremely proud to accept the award on behalf of the Club – an award that recognises the continued hard work, dedication and commitment shown by our staff, Board, members and volunteers.
